Do you really want see yourself in some good IIT/ NIT? Have you prepared for the Jee Main?

Here we provide you complete details on how to prepare for jee main?

Preparation strategy for jee main :

1.Selection of Good Book:

Selecting a good book is very much important. It not only helps you to grasp the concept but also will save your time. Now the question arises “Which one is a good book?”. Here many students fail to identify one.  Many of you will rush to your seniors , and they will tell you “blah blah” books are great for preparation and you without thinking anything gonna buy those books. No doubt whatever they will refer you , might have helped them alot during their preparation but it might not be much helpful for you. There are many books which are liked by many aspirants but you may not like it . So, before buy any books , first check whether you can understand what’s written in it , its language and its way of explaining things/topic/equations. Here are some books you can refer to, which helped me during my jee preparations;-

PHYSICS:

  1. SL ARORA (for board as well as Jee Mains)
  2. HC VERMA (For concept)
  3. Pradesh Physics Encyclopedia*(best for mechanics part and for numerical purpose)

CHEMISTRY:

              1. NCERT (only for theory)

2. JEE MAIN PLUS! By Engg. A.K. MISHRA (for practise and also can be used as a handbook).

MATHEMATICS:

              1. OBJECTIVE MATHEMATICS BY RD SHARMA .

P.S:- Please check the books before buying , not only these but any book. You can easily download the book in pdf format or borrow it from a friend/library .

2. Time Management:

Have you ever wondered how it is that some people seem to have enough time to do everything that they want to, whereas others are always rushing from task to task, and never seem to finish anything?

Is it just that the former have less to do? No, it’s much more likely that they are using their time more effectively and practicing good time management skills.

Time management is not very difficult as a concept, but it’s surprisingly hard to do in practice. It requires the investment of a little time upfront to prioritize and organise yourself. But once done, you will find that with minor tweaks, your day, and indeed your week and month, fall into place in an orderly fashion, with time for everything you need to do.

While in the exam, since you have to solve 90 questions in 180 minutes, ideally you have only 2 minutes for each question. Thus, managing time is really important for this exam. You should maintain a proper pace right from starting of the exam. You cannot waste your time thinking about only one question. You have to move ahead if you cannot solve a particular question or options don’t match. That doesn’t mean you should leave the question directly if you cannot solve it in your first try. For this, it is advisable to solve a few question papers within the time limit and analyze your pace and work on it.

3.Proper Planning:

Proper planning is as important as selecting good books. Always keep in the mind “If you fail to plan , you plan to fail”.

Divide you course into two parts , clear the first part in the first 4-6 months and the latter part in the next 4-6 months. And again sub divide those parts into weeks and days. These will help you utilize time more efficiently. Make your study time table as per your convient and stick to it. Don’t just follow any time table which are normally found on internet, since you yourself have to prepare for the exam so make your own time table.

4.DAILY PRACTISE:

“Practice makes a man Perfect”

Practice numerical problems Daily, after every topic head toward the numerical . Daily try to solve problem as much as you can . After completion of every chapter try appearing for the mock test available online or offline or subscribe the monthly magazines for Jee by MTG ( or anyone that you like). These  magazines not only help you in your revision but also provides tips and tricks to solve problem in less time.

5. Keep Yourself Motivated:

Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.

Keeping yourself motivated while preparing for Jee Main is one of the toughest thing on this earth, just kidding, it is little difficult but not much . But if you can’t keep yoursef motivated, write my words, you won’t get a good institute/ college as per your potential. Students after having motivation class/lectures usually studies very hard for 2-3 days and they quit after that. Don’t do such mistake. Keep studying daily and stay motivated.

6.Don’t Just Think But Act:

Note : This is the most precious time of your life, don’t just waste it . If you want to enjoy latter , burn now.
